Logan Bedard is a professional live and studio drummer from Mechanicsburg, PA. He has been playing the drum set since age 5, taking the stage for the first time at age 7. He got his start with local legend Shea Quinn of the Sharks, playing numerous gigs in the area at a very young age, and continues to this day with Quinn. In addition to his work with Shea, he picked up with a formerly local artist named Ajay Shughart and began gigging with him locally on a regular basis. Through his work with Ajay, he came into contact with Empowered Music’s very own Billy Cave who he still travels the country with to this day under Billy’s artist name; Spilly Cave. In addition to Spilly Cave, Logan also works with Downbeat Award Winning jazz fusion power trio, Teen Town, whom he was a founding member of in 2016. However, spends most of his stage time with one of the northeast’s premier wedding bands, Central City Orchestra; a 10-piece powerhouse wedding/private event band. Logan has worked with countless other names in the area as both a live and studio drummer, maintaining a full schedule of cover shows, original shows, hosting open jams, and short notice fill-in gigs for many other drummers in the area. With the early start in performance came an early start in lessons. He took with Jeremy Hummel formerly of Breaking Benjamin for roughly 10 years and took his skills to the next level. Logan is fluent in all genres of music from country to jazz and everything in between. He has made a career out of being a chameleon and being open to any and all styles of music.

Logan’s goal as an educator is to help students ignite the same passion for rhythm and music that shaped his life from a young age. Logan is looking to take on students of all skill levels of all ages. His expertise as a career drummer on stage and in the studio has allowed him to delve deeply into the instrument and develop a connection with the drums that he wants to share with others to help them experience the magic of percussion. He believes the magic of music is something that everybody should, and already does have in their life, and wants to expand upon that. There are no bounds to the level of proficiency that a student can achieve, they just have to be given the guidance to get there, and with his, you can get there.
