Mike Dempsey is a musician from Pennsylvania who has been playing music since the age of five. Learning how to read music from his mother, he still applies the same rudimentary and fundamental techniques to his teaching. He enjoys a career of performing music, touring professionally with Yam Yam, while also playing piano and guitar locally in Harrisburg and across the country.

With an emphasis on improvisation and the piano specifically, Dempsey is prolific on piano, guitar, bass, trumpet, and music production. He maintains a deep appreciation for all types of music and music making, and hopes to educate another generation of creative people . Believing that maintaining creativity while also consistently practicing as the basis for all music, he maintains an everlasting appreciation and reverence for the power of music to enrich our lives.
